Anora é o grande vencedor da premiação e levou três prêmios, incluindo Melhor Filme, Direção e Atuação Principal

A 40ª edição do Independent Spirit Awards aconteceu neste sábado (22) em Santa Monica, Califórnia, celebrando o cinema e as produções televisivas independentes. A cerimônia teve Aidy Bryant como apresentadora pelo segundo ano consecutivo.
O grande destaque da noite foi "Anora", que venceu Melhor Filme, além de garantir os prêmios de Melhor Direção para Sean Baker e Melhor Atuação Principal para Mikey Madison.
Na categoria televisiva, a série "Baby Reindeer" foi a mais premiada, conquistando os prêmios de Melhor Atuação Principal para Richard Gadd, Melhor Atuação Coadjuvante para Nava Mau e Melhor Atuação Revelação para Jessica Gunning. Já "Shōgun" levou o prêmio de Melhor Nova Série Roteirizada.
No cinema, "Dìdi", dirigido por Sean Wang, venceu em duas categorias de estreia, levando Melhor Primeiro Filme e Melhor Primeiro Roteiro.
